Built at the plant. Not in a boardroom.
Developed within Européenne de Biomasse, our family company, Biomass Centrale was built during the commissioning of the world’s first industrial steam-exploded pellets plant. The technology was a breakthrough — a coal substitute produced from any lignocellulosic biomass, including agricultural residues.
But the breakthrough created problems no existing software could solve.
How do you manage highly variable feedstocks at industrial scale? How do you maintain certification-grade traceability across a process no one had run before? How do you operate a smart plant built around a technology the industry had never seen?
We built Biomass Centrale to answer those questions.

- How we got here
2021
The world's first steam-exploded pellets plant
Européenne de Biomasse commissions the world's first industrial steam-exploded pellets plant. A breakthrough technology — but no software exists to run it.
2022
BiomassCentrale is built
We build the ERP we couldn't find — designed from the ground up for heterogeneous feedstocks, variable quality, and certification-grade traceability.
2024
Commercializing BiomassCentrale for the global market
After successful deployment, we realise the problems we solved aren't unique to us. Heating plants, traders, and advanced biofuel projects face the same gaps. The industry needs infrastructure, not workarounds.
2025
Expansion Partners is created
Européenne de Biomasse commissions the world's first industrial steam-exploded pellets plant. A breakthrough technology — but no software exists to run it.
Today
The digital infrastructure for biomass
Biomass Centrale provides the ERP, plant simulation software, and web studio behind the industry's most ambitious projects.

From one plant to an industry
After the successful deployment within Européenne de Biomasse, we realised the challenges we had solved weren't unique to us. Select a sector to see the core issues they were working around.
Managing heterogeneous feedstocks and variable quality with no purpose-built tool — compliance documentation assembled manually, plant performance tracked in spreadsheets.
BiomassERP centralises feedstock intake, quality tracking, and compliance documentation in a single system — built for the variability that generic ERP cannot handle.
Optimizing sourcing margins and logistics with no sector-specific platform — pricing adjustments for wet or non-compliant wood done by hand, traceability fragmented across systems.
BiomassERP gives traders a live view of sourcing margins, moisture-adjusted pricing, and end-to-end traceability — so every transaction is auditable without the manual assembly.
Running FEL studies across disconnected models — technology, feedstock, logistics, and finance built in silos with no simulation layer to check consistency before FID.
BiofuelsBlueprint integrates feedstock, process, and financial modelling in a single simulation environment — so project teams reach FID with assumptions that have actually been stress-tested against each other.
Monitoring plant performance and allocating capital with no real-time operational data, reporting assembled after the fact, no standardized baseline across portfolio assets.
BiomassERP delivers standardised operational data across portfolio assets in real time — giving fund managers the baseline they need to benchmark performance and allocate capital on current information, not last month’s reports.
